you really can't go wrong with a fine dining establishment alongside a lake. The bar is amazing!
Never again!..Raw burger instead of medium, unopened mussels served. Plus, the server didn't offer to take the burger off..
Ordered the steak special, medium rare. It came very rare. Sent it back and it came back well done. My daughter had the same problem. The waitress actually asked her how much longer the steak should be cooked! The menu lists local organic veggies with the steak, It came with a mix of yellow squash, undercooked onions and tough asparagus (which I highly doubt is available locally in Maine in September). Presentation consisted on plopping the food on the plate. Not very visually pleasing. The sauce with the steak was a gooey gravy with probably too much corn starch. The server was not well trained. Our main dishes came before we had a chance to finish our appetizers. Dirty dishes piled up on the table as the meal progressed. We had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled. On the plus side, the onion rings were good as well as the lollipop wings. The dessert (shortbread tart) was also tasty. Very much overpriced for the quality of food and service.
